Sambal Petai

Poh cooked up a sambal petai dish for Master
Chef Australia. I just love a good petai dish.

It has that special flavour and aroma that goes so well with chilly. A warning though, when you pass water later it gives your urine a very strong smell. Hence the belief it is good for your kidneys

The Great Malaysian Hijack

Spot the Malaysian dish. In fact the uniqueness of our Malaysian cuisine is the amazing variety of a cooking pot of cultures. I don't think it is easy to rebrand all our dishes but certainly they are super tasty.

I love a goo Nasi Lemak, a fantastic takeaway food.

Bah Kut Teh remains a favourite of mine.

And the other day my friend made me a wonderful Hainanese chicken rice in Geelong.
Great now I am hungry again.

Meat Pie

Not a local delicasy but I am in Australia for a while and I apologise for the infrequent postings. But I will be back in Penang soon and will continue to update my blog. The food in Australia has not inspired me much compared to Penang hawker food. To me still the best food in the world!
