Credit to my photographer friend HKO for his excellent pics...great now I feel hungry again! Sar Hor Fun needs to be eaten hot, with the egg still cooking in the sauce. Wait 10 minutes and the starchy sauce becomes like glue! So fresh Sar Hor Fun with bee hoon and that slightly burnt taste really hits the spot when you are famished!Stir Fried noodles in a seafood gravy sauce . Hmm I find it hard to describe except it's very tasty!
Literally fried flat noodles, this dish is surprisingly delicious. The noodles are first stir fried till it is a little burnt. Then the sauce is added. Make sure you ask for an egg with it.
Over at Bee Hooi restaurant in Pulau Tikus I like their Sar Hor Fun at night. A generous serving with the slightly burnt hor fun taste. Costs RM3.
