Each coffee shop has a slight variation of this nice soupy dish. This one is also from the coffee shop opposite the Pulkau Tikus police station called 77 Food Yard. A full tea egg with bites of stewed duck and tofu grace hand rolled flat rice noodles. Nice.

Honestly,after so many trips to penang,seldom across someone selling Koay chiap.Looks good with stewed duck.I must try.What is usual selling price for a bowl of koay chiap at coffee shop at this moment.
